We have spent years as tour guides for local and international tour operators specializing in nature tours, bird watching expeditions, and ecotourism expeditions in the Amazon and Pantanal ecosystems. Ecoexplorer is now able to offer a variety of Amazon tours and cruises and Pantanal lodge and camping safaris for nature enthusiasts.

The company is based in Cuiabá, capital of Mato Grosso state, and maintains operational offices in Campo Grande, in the southern Pantanal, and in Porto Velho and Alta Floresta in the Amazon region, to handle our own services there. Ecoexplorer offers a variety of ecotours in the Amazon and Pantanal regions of Brazil, including bird watching tours, photo safaris, expeditions cruises, nature tours, wildlife tours, jungle expeditions, lodge safaris, and camping adventures, all tailored to those seeking a more active and respectful adventure in the outdoors.

Most of our expeditions take you to remote destinations, away from the usual routes. Our tour sizes are deliberately kept to a minimum (2 - 8 members) to ensure maximum exposure to the local wildlife and culture. A small group also allows guests to spend more time with their guides, which enriches the overall experience.

Each of our eco-adventures is led by the most experienced and knowledgeable local guides. These individuals are experts on the local flora and fauna and they are also environmentally conscious. Guides speak English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, and Portuguese.

As supporters of authentic ecotourism, we contribute a portion of trip proceeds to Amazon and Pantanal community projects. We also make every effort to follow a responsible code of ecotourism to minimize any detrimental impact on the environment and local culture. We are not a booking agent providing clients to subcontractors, and we have managed to avoid expensive advertising and unnecessary middlemen. This allows us to offer ecotourism at reasonable prices to our clients.

None of our tours at Ecoexplorer are alike. We have a general region we like to share, but our tours are personal and flexible. We take into consideration the changing seasons and the daily weather conditions of the region to be explored. We also create itineraries to cater to the individual or special interest and requirements of specific groups.
